BIRTH: Born at a nursing home in Kimbolton Road, Bedford, which was the nearest place during an air raid warning which the ambulance could reach from Leighton Buzzard, where Miles and Eileen were living at the time. Miles was working at Bletchley Park, and Eileen had been seconded to their first aid post as a VAD Nurse.
