BIOGRAPHY: Miles Frederick was born LEDGER, but following his mother's remarriage to C O MACADAM, he adopted both his step-father's name and his mother's maiden name. This he said was done by deed poll. This is a repeat of what happened the previous generation with his father; the direct family link to the HESELTINEs was thus preserved.
